This week, Lissie debuts on the VH-1′s Top 20 Countdown with her single “When I’m Alone” from her album “Catching A Tiger.”

Born in Rock Island, Illinois, this singer-songwriter is consistently getting the attention she deserves. We love her voice and her vibe. We think it is only up from here.

Lenny Kravitz would be very proud. After Lenny was tipped off by Lissie’s Myspace page, he invited her to open for him on his Love Revolution Tour in 2008. Three years later, Lissie is going strong.

Lissie’s good friend, Ellie Goulding, is also blowing up so it is great to see deserving musicians rising to the top.
