Who doesn’t love Ms. Bernadette Peters? That voice, charm and beauty that makes up this Tony Award winner has been adored on Broadway and TV for years.
This Saturday July 9th, come visit Bernadette and her close friend Mary Tyler Moore between the hours of 330pm-630pm at Shubert Ally in NYC’s Times Square for the 13th Annual “Broadway Barks.”
“Broadway Barks” is an event, produced by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, that helps inform people about the benefit of adopting animals that are in dire need of permanent homes.
This year Peters and Moore welcome many close Broadway animal-loving celebrity friends including legend Joel Grey, Bebe Neuwirth, Patina Miller, Sutton Foster, Bobby Cannavale, Annabella Sciorra and many others!
This event is free, open to the public and quite a site to see. Funds raised are distributed to participating shelters, rescue groups and to the Picasso Veterinary Fund, which is administered by the Mayor’s Alliance for NYC’s Animals and provides grants to cover extraordinary veterinary costs.
Hope to see you there!
